DLSI has received a $3000 grant from Autism Advocates of Indiana,
Inc. to be used to provide legal assistance to eligible families
with children on the Autism Spectrum.
If your child is eligible for special education services due to
Autism, or you believe your child is eligible for special education
services due to Autism, and you need legal assistance in either
obtaining appropriate educational services or implementing an
existing Individualized Education Program (IEP), please complete a
DLSI client intake form.
July 26-27, 2012: DLSI to present workshop at IAACCS Adoption Forum
Title of Workshop: Special Education: Understanding Your Rights and Responsibilities.
Does your child have a disability that adversely affects their school performance? Does your child’s behavior often lead to school discipline? If so, this workshop is for you. Attendees will learn the basics of special education law, including how to request an educational evaluation, prepare for a case conference and handle school discipline issues.
